Details: Evelyn Hotel, Melbourne - 11 February 2005. The Spazzys, an all-girl band from Melbourne who wear their Ramones influence proudly on their sleeves, are quickly making their mark on the Australian music scene with a great debut album and fun-filled live shows. Although musically limited these girls really put on an awsome live show. Their onstage presence is incredible and they put 110% into their live shows. This show was the 'My Boyfriend's Back' single launch. The recording came out quite well and captures the essence of the Spazzys live show. Highlights include an interesting cover of 'The Wanderer' with just a guitar and three part harmony and a cover of Poison's 'Talk Dirty To Me'. My rating: A
